Surya Foundations Public Charitable Trust

Surya Foundations, the applicant organization, was established in the year 2016-17 as a Trust. As a Trust, we constantly make efforts to contribute meaningfully to the communities that we are a part of approximately 100 percent of the interest contribution and execute in Health, Skill Development, Medical Camp, Environment, Wild Life, and Young Development. The organization was established and is being managed by a dedicated team and social activists.

Area of Activity

Agriculture- Agriculture and the plight of farmers have been one of the topmost objectives of the Trust and efforts were made very early in this direction. The Trust has successfully organized training programs, workshops for the farmers in collaboration with the Department of Agriculture, GoUP, and NABARD.

Capacity Building- The Trust aims at the capacity building of youth by providing guidance and organizing employment-oriented training programs and skill development schemes/modules. The Trust has successfully collaborated with institutions and organizations.

Education- The Trust is contributing in this area by providing free education, books, uniform to various students besides giving scholarships, donations to the libraries, up-gradation of laboratories, computer training facilities.

Environment- The Trust organizes free tree plantation drives, especially in rural areas, in collaboration with educational institutions and public/private organizations.

Gender Equality- This remains one of the prime focus areas of the Trust. The first and foremost activity, therefore, was aimed at this segment of society.

General- The Trust aims to expand its philanthropic activities in a time-bound manner to cover all the objectives enshrined in its registration document.

Medical & Health- The Trust has been proactive in this area right from its inception, providing free medical aid, organizing health checkups and medical camps, blood donation camps periodically in different areas.

Social & Cultural Development- The Trust realizes that a holistic developmental index must include an effective quotient of happiness. Social and cultural development is one the most important mediums to achieve this objective.
